Our world-class Endoscopy Unit is located on the ground floor of Building Three (Admin and OPD block) of the Centre and is well equipped with state-of-the-art endoscopy systems. We also have reception and waiting areas as well as safe and comfortable recovery bays with gender separation. 

The Unit is currently fully operational and provides diagnostic and interventional endoscopic procedures on both in-patients and out-patients basis, as well as emergencies, supported by a team of highly skilled and experienced gastroenterologist, general surgeon, and endoscopy nurses to meet the health care needs of our clients. 

Client, staff, and equipment safety are paramount to us. Thus, for safe endoscopy, especially around infection prevention, our nursing team is highly trained in endoscope reprocessing, 
applying updated reprocessing and infection prevention protocols in their practice. 
The Unit also ensures single use of critical endoscopic accessories and we are very strict on the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by staff during practice.

We have a hallmark for client comfort so throughout our clients’ journey at the Endoscopy Unit from the point of pre-procedure assessment, through to the procedure room and to the recovery area, our clients are made as comfortable as possible. Our well-equipped and well secured recovery bay provides an ambient and therapeutic environment for quick and safe recovery from endoscopic procedures. We ensure maximum client privacy and confidentiality all through the client’s journey with us. Our unit also boasts of applying one of the best technologies in patient endoscopy reporting, creating on-demand availability of pictures and videos of endoscopy findings for reviews, training, and research.

Since the inception of COVID-19, all our staff have been extra cautious with infection prevention protocols. We are constantly in appropriate PPEs for safety, and strictly observe all COVID-19 protocols. We also conduct a rigorous pre-procedure assessment to triage our clients during this COVID-19 period.
