Research Interest
My interest is in natural product research particularly in the isolation and characterization of new molecules of medicinal benefit from plants and their pharmacognostic identification focusing on anticancer, anti-inflammatory and anti-infective agents.
Current projects
1. Isolation of medicinal compounds from selected Ghanaian medicinal plants.
2. Anti-inflammatory and anaelgesic activities of Saba species in murine models.
3. Genus Saba: Acute toxicity studies in murine models.
4. Preliminary antimicrobial screening of the genus Saba.
