Research Interest

My research interests focus on breast diseases, specifically cancer and how to improve outcomes. I am also interested in quality of life, pain management and palliative care. 

Current projects 
1.   Determining the patterns of metastases and survival outcomes in breast cancer among Ghanaian patients. 

2.   Short-term versus Long-term Chest tube drainage in the management of malignant pleural effusion in Breast Cancer patients admitted at the Breast Unit of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra 

3.   Non-infectious wound complications after mastectomy with reconstruction 

4.   Breast and Prostate cancers in older adults in the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital: Socio-economic and lifestyle factors.
